Residencia Santa Clara is at the heart of Old Havana. From the airport, it takes about 30-45 minutes to get to our boutique hotel by taxi and the trip from the airport to Old Havana would typically cost around 30 USD.

Our guests typically spend 3 or 4 nights with us before continuing their journey across Cuba. So we thought it’d be useful to also give you some hints on travel distances from Havana to nearby destinations.

From Havana to the Valley of Vinales in the westernmost part of the island, it would take about two and a half hours by car or taxi. The beach resorts of Varadero are 2 hours away from Havana if driving on the Via Blanca – the motorway that connects Havana directly to Varadero. The lovely town of Trinidad, in the south-central part of Cuba, is about 5 hours away.
